
The former Kirov official can go to prison for 15 years
A former civil servant suspected of accepting a bribe of almost 2 million rubles was detained in Udmurtia. A criminal case was opened against her.
According to Kommersant, with reference to the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation, according to investigators, in 2024 the suspect received more than 1.9 million rubles from the director of a commercial organization for the opportunity to lease land from state ownership at an undervalued price. Rubleva's roommate and her relative, who acted as intermediaries, also participated in the transaction.
A search took place at the workplace of the accused, during which documentation was seized. The investigation insists on arresting Ekaterina Rubleva. Appropriate procedural measures will also be taken with respect to other parties to the transaction.
Ekaterina Rubleva left her position on June 11, 2025. It is known that she has previously been held accountable for offenses. In August 2024, she was fined a thousand rubles for violating labor laws against one of the employees.
