The Ministry of Health gives 500 thousand rubles for the death of a patient
The sum of the claims is five million rubles in solidarity with the defendants.
Recall that on February 17, 49-year-old Vyacheslav Kochkin turned to the Shabalin Central Hospital with a complaint of burning in his chest. Nina Klepcha, the attending physician, who worked as an ophthalmologist before starting her therapeutic practice, diagnosed acute gastritis. For what the newly-minted therapist had enough of the patient's words behind his eyes: "I ate chips." This seemed to Nina Ivanovna quite enough for "clarity of the picture", because she probably does not know how to use a computer, where the "alarming diagnosis" is indicated in the electronic card — hypertension.
Before reaching the house a few meters, Vyacheslav Anatolyevich fell and died, clutching in his hand the direction "to feces", FGDS and a prescription for almagel and "stomach pills". An acquaintance of Kochkin's, driving by in his car, took him to the hospital, where he was informed that it was "late", and later the cause of death was determined to be a "heart attack".
The last, but not the final meeting, held on June 19, was attended by the new chief physician of the Shabalin CRH, who immediately offered a "settlement" and compensation in the amount of 500 thousand rubles. And after listening to the refusal due to the "disproportionality of the price of death (or, perhaps, murder?)," he stated that the Ministry of Health had nothing to do with it at all.
As well as the CRH, for which there is no fault, since the doctor was Clinging... "professionally, competently and correctly." Probably making it clear to the participants in the process that confusing gastritis with a heart attack is a common thing for Kirov aesculapians. Not to say the usual.
The answer of the "chief Shabalin doctor" to the plaintiff's question: "If no one is to blame, then they are willing to pay half a million rubles for what," was even more surprising, since the reason for the willingness to "fork out" turned out to be "compassion." And a quiet "confession" that "maybe it was the doctor's fault— that's why they suggested it." There was no answer to the following question: "It turns out that you pay 500 thousand for each of the deceased patients."
Probably, by the next court hearing scheduled for early July, the "chief Shabalin doctor" will still be able to explain why, in the five months that have passed since Vyacheslav Anatolyevich's death, his hasty real death is still explained by "the doctor's possible guilt."
