13,000 jobs are vacant in the Kirov region

      At the end of October 2024, there were 13,000 open vacancies in the Kirov Region. This is about 6% of the number of employees in organizations. Such data was provided by Kirovstat.

      The greatest demand is for skilled workers in industry, construction and transport. Almost a third of all vacancies are in these industries. Among the professions in demand are welders, turners, bakers, shoe makers, blacksmiths and other professionals involved in manufacturing industries.

      The second place in terms of demand is occupied by specialists with higher education. Employers need engineers, doctors, teachers, educators, and IT specialists. The shortage of general practitioners and specialized specialists is particularly acute in healthcare.

      The third place is occupied by operators of production machines, drivers, assemblers and locksmiths. These professions account for 14% of the total number of vacancies. There is also a need for unskilled workers such as cleaners, movers and janitors.

      Agriculture and forestry are looking for workers on farms and farms. Delivery and communication services require postmen, telephone operators, and dispatchers. There is a noticeable shortage of salespeople, conductors, security guards, and nursing assistants in the service sector.
