Information about the explosion in the area of the Crimean Bridge has been confirmed. According to the newspaper Kommersant, with reference to the press secretary of the President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Peskov, the incident did occur, but the bridge continues to function normally.
"There really was an explosion, nothing was damaged. The bridge is working," a Kremlin spokesman commented during a press call.
Earlier, on June 3, the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) announced a special operation to blow up the bridge pillars. According to their version, an explosive device with a capacity of more than a ton of TNT was activated, the underwater parts of the structure were allegedly damaged, and the bridge "is actually in disrepair."
