In Kirov, an 18-year-old boy will be put on trial for attempting to sell drugs
The Soviet interdistrict Investigative Department has completed the investigation of a criminal case against an 18-year-old resident of Kirov. The young man is accused of attempting to sell drugs on a significant and large scale. The case has been referred to the court.
According to the investigation, in October last year, two teenagers — one of them was 17 years old at the time, the other had not reached the age of criminal responsibility — agreed to sell drugs in the Kirov region. They received the coordinates of a batch of banned substances from unknown persons via the Internet. After that, the teenagers set up hiding places in the city of Sovetsk, photographed them and recorded their exact locations.
Illegal activities were stopped in time: the drugs were seized by police officers. A criminal case has been opened against the 18-year—old defendant under Part 3 of Article 30, paragraphs "a, b" of Part 3 of Article 228.1 and Part 3 of Article 30, paragraph "d" of Part 4 of Article 228.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation - an attempt to sell narcotic drugs by a group of persons by prior agreement on a significant and large scale.
The youngest participant in the scheme, who has not reached the age of criminal responsibility, has been placed on preventive registration in the juvenile affairs unit.
The investigation has gathered sufficient evidence. The criminal case with the approved indictment has been sent to the court for consideration on the merits.
