Vyatka Polyana residents to be tested for cancer

      On Saturday, June 7, the ONCOpost campaign will be held at the Vyatskopolyanskaya Central District Hospital polyclinic. It is aimed at early detection of oncological diseases. Anyone over the age of 18 will be able to take part in the survey. Patient registration will start at eight in the morning and last until two in the afternoon.

      Oncologists and specialists from various fields will work at the polyclinic. Residents of Vyatka Polyana and surrounding areas will be able to be examined by a dermatologist, mammologist, urologist, coloproctologist, gynecologist and ENT. Ultrasound diagnostics and mammography will be performed for medical reasons. Blood sampling for cancer markers is not provided, as it is not included in the standard screening.

      Additionally, the specialists of the Health Center will conduct an express blood test for cholesterol and glucose, assess body parameters and body parameters. Dentists will examine the oral mucosa and perform an additional examination using autofluorescence stomatoscopy.

      Participants of the action will also receive training events from volunteers. They will talk about cancer prevention, the principles of a healthy lifestyle and show how to conduct breast self-examination. Transportation will be organized for the convenience of residents of Vyatskopolyansky and Malmyzhsky districts.
