Kirov residents were reminded of the deadline for submitting reports on foreign accounts

Individuals who are residents of Russia and have accounts abroad or foreign electronic wallets must submit cash flow reports for 2024 to the tax authorities by June 2. This obligation applies to those who have used bank accounts or payment services outside the country.

The deadline for submitting documents expires annually on June 1, but this year the date fell on a weekend, so the deadline for submission is postponed to the next working day — June 2. Reports must be compiled in accordance with the prescribed form approved by government decree. The form can be found on the FTS website in the "Currency control" section.

In some cases, you do not need to submit a report. This is possible if a citizen spent more than 183 days abroad in 2024, or if the amount of transactions on an account or electronic wallet did not exceed 600 thousand rubles and the accounts are located in the EAEU countries or countries with which Russia has agreements on the automatic exchange of financial information.

There are various ways to submit reports: through the taxpayer's personal account on the FTS website, during a personal visit to the tax office, through a trusted person, or by mail. Persons subject to partial mobilization have the right to defer reporting for three months after their discharge from military service.
