On May 29, more than 8 thousand ninth graders of the Kirov region wrote the OGE

      On May 29, the Kirov region hosted the next day of the basic state exam (OGE) for ninth graders. This time, the students took history, geography, physics and chemistry. Geography became the most popular subject of the day.

      More than 8,000 schoolchildren took part in the exams, for which 138 exam sites were opened throughout the region. The procedure was monitored by public observers, and compliance with the regulations was monitored by specialists from the Center for Educational Quality Assessment through electronic classrooms.

      The duration of the exams was 3 hours for history, chemistry and physics, and 2 hours and 30 minutes for geography.

      According to Elena Voronkina, Deputy Minister of Education of the region, the exams were held normally, and no violations were recorded. The verification has already begun, and the results will be announced no later than June 11.

      For those who missed the exam for a valid reason or could not complete it due to their health condition, reserve days are provided - June 27 and 28.

      The press service of education of the Kirov region reminded that ninth graders have four more days of exams ahead: June 3 in mathematics, June 6 in geography, computer science and social studies, June 9 in Russian, June 16 in biology, literature, computer science, physics.
