Analyst on tax exemption of interest on 3-year deposits: "There won't be much effect"

      "In my opinion, the intention to exempt long-term deposits from tax is in line with the general plans of the authorities to stimulate long-term savings, which could become a source of "long money" in the economy. There will probably be some effect from this measure, but it is unlikely to be very large. In my opinion, given the difficult economic situation, the possibility of some new significant economic, geopolitical and other shocks, as well as the low public confidence in the government's financial policies, it is unlikely that many Russians will want to freeze their money for a long time."
