More than 100 kilometers of federal highways will be repaired in the Kirov region in 2025.
In 2025, it is planned to repair about 100 km of federal highways in the Kirov region. This became known following a working meeting between Alexey Zherdev, First Deputy Chairman of the regional government, and Anatoly Dashkevich, head of the department of the Federal State Budgetary Institution "Updor Prikamye".
According to the information provided, the volume of repair work will increase compared to last year — 80 km of roads were put in order in 2024. This year, not only road works are planned, but also bridge repairs, as well as replacement of the worn coating layer.
The repair will cover sections of the R-176 and R-243 highways passing through the territory of Shabalinsky, Svechinsky, Kotelnichsky, Orlovsky, Omutninsky and Afanasyevsky districts. Funds for the implementation of the work are provided from the federal budget, contractors have already been identified.
The length of federal roads under the jurisdiction of Updor Prikamye in the Kirov region is 786 km. According to the department, about 80% of them are in a standard condition. Within the Kirov urban agglomeration, this figure reaches 96%.
