Residents of Kirov complained about the destroyed yard after communal works
Residents of four houses in Kirov — No. 49 and 49a on Lepse Street, as well as No. 16 and 20 on Mira Street — are forced to wade through mud and construction debris every day. Their common yard was left in disrepair after last year's excavations: hot water pipes were changed here.
According to local residents, special equipment destroyed a dirt footpath. Concrete slabs are now scattered on the site, rebar is sticking out of the ground, there are sinkholes and accumulations of clay. After the rains, the path turns into an impassable mess. Residents are particularly concerned about the fact that children walk along this path: there are three kindergartens and a school nearby.
Without waiting for the restoration of landscaping, the townspeople turned to the Popular Front. According to ONF expert Dmitry Sergeev, contractors are obliged to return the territory to its previous state. According to him, a reminder has already been sent to the customer of the work, and they promised to restore the yard by June 16. In case of inaction, the Popular Front intends to appeal to the prosecutor's office.
