Kirov wants to change several bus routes
Kirov is discussing plans to change the network of public transport routes, which may come into force in 2026. These proposals were considered at the parliamentary hour.
It is planned that bus routes No. 11, No. 14 and No. 15 will be extended to the Kapitan Pletnev Street stop. Route No. 74 may also become longer — they want to extend it from the Hippodrome stop to the new school No. 23.
The analysis of passenger traffic revealed that some bus and trolleybus routes duplicate each other. Because of this, it is proposed to partially shorten the routes of buses No. 53 and No. 84. An interesting situation has developed with route No. 51: they initially wanted to eliminate it, but the deputies and the carrier did not support this idea. Instead, a proposal was received to extend route No. 51 to the village of Ganino.
Other possible innovations include the addition of two morning and evening flights on route 23. It is also planned to increase the number of flights during peak hours on routes No. 5, No. 15 and No. 67. Routes No. 61 and No. 39 may have one additional transport unit each to improve passenger service.
