"Simakov's Gap": The city of Kirov itself multiplies attractions
First of all, it's beautiful. Secondly, the inspection of the gap, which was entrusted to the leadership of the Pervomaisky territorial administration, is probably not a quick matter. Thirdly, the gap has already become a kind of art object that appeared on its own, without requiring any additional financial investments.
Recall that the base of the central rotunda in the Alexander Garden cracked on April 7. The next day, the head of the city administration, Vyacheslav Simakov, went to the Alexander Garden to personally verify the presence of a gap. Moreover, apparently not believing his eyes (the rotundas were "handed over" on the night before the now "fake" City Day on June 12), the city manager palpated the crack, for which, with the light hand of the townspeople, the new art object acquired the name "Simakov's Gap".
At the same time, Vyacheslav Nikolaevich instructed the Pervomaisky territorial administration to conduct an examination in the near future in order to make a decision on restoration work. In addition, the contractor who was involved in the reconstruction was given an order to eliminate the identified comments within the framework of warranty obligations. "I took personal control of the situation," the head of the administration added.Apparently, "the near future" is a very vague concept for Pervomaisky terra, since today, on May 23, the gap is still in place, and there are no hints that the base of the central rotunda is going to be repaired in the near future.
However, judging by the photos that were taken on the morning of May 23, they still tried to disguise the gap: the picture shows that the widest part of the gap, where the head of the city administration intended to stick his fingers, was clumsily covered with putty.
