It became known about the receipt of a letter of thanks from the command of the Russian army addressed to the Kirov soldiers. This was announced by Governor Alexander Sokolov during today's meeting.
The commendation was signed by the commander of one of the battalions. A serviceman from the Kiknuri district is serving in this unit.
"He worthily bears the name of a soldier of our illustrious division, formed during the Great Patriotic War and fought from Moscow to Berlin. With military labor, he continues the immortal work of his predecessors in the division, liberating Ukraine from modern fascism," Sokolov quoted the letter.
