Leak of state secrets prevented in Kirov region
The Federal Security Service of Russia for the Kirov region, during operational search activities, revealed that one of the employees of the enterprise in the region violated the requirements for processing official information containing state secrets. The employee connected the work equipment to the Internet, which could lead to the leakage of classified materials.
Violations were promptly eliminated. The disclosure of information constituting a state secret was not allowed, the press service of the department reported.
An official warning was issued to an employee of the enterprise about the inadmissibility of actions that create conditions for committing a crime under Part 1 of Article 283 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. It is recalled that responsibility for the disclosure of state secrets is provided in the form of imprisonment for up to 4 years.
