73% of working Kirov residents face overwork

      According to the survey results, the majority of office workers in Kirov regularly face overwork. Almost three quarters of employees (73%) are forced to stay at work longer than required, with a third of them doing so on a regular basis, and another 40% from time to time.

      At the same time, 63% of employees are under pressure to constantly prove their effectiveness. At the same time, 22% do it often, and 41% do it periodically. The problem is especially acute among those who regularly overwork — 36% of them feel the constant need to demonstrate their usefulness to the employer. They note that without evidence of effectiveness, a specialist risks being left without bonuses and salary increases. Interestingly, among those who follow a standard work schedule, one in two does not experience such experiences at all.

      Despite these difficulties, the vast majority of employees (90%) feel trusted by management. Of these, 34% are absolutely confident in the trust of their superiors, and another 56% are more confident in this. Two categories of employees show the greatest confidence in the loyalty of management: those who do not feel the need to prove their effectiveness (45%), and those who regularly overwork (42%).

      The situation with employees working on a hybrid schedule and remotely deserves special attention. They are the ones who most often face systematic overwork (33% among hybrid workers). At the same time, they are more worried about their own effectiveness than others.
