Kirov region will receive grants for the creation of educational clusters
Two new educational and industrial clusters will appear in the Kirov region. This was announced by Governor Alexander Sokolov at a government meeting.
According to the official, our region has successfully passed the grant selection conducted by the Russian Ministry of Education. This will open up new educational areas.
One of the clusters will be dedicated to the electrical industry and industrial automation. It is planned to launch in 2026 on the basis of the college of Vyatka State University. It will unite several educational institutions of secondary vocational education.
The second cluster will focus on light industry. Its main venue will be the Kirov Technological College.
A federal grant of 100 million rubles will be allocated for the creation of each cluster. These funds will be used to equip educational spaces and workshops.
