A resident of Vakhrusha is suspected of attacking a policeman with an axe

      In the Sloboda district, the Investigative Committee opened a criminal case after an attack on a police officer. The suspect was a 59-year-old resident of the village of Vakhrusha.

      Recall, according to the preliminary version, on the afternoon of April 22, in Vakhrusha, near one of the houses on Sovetskaya Street, a man threatened to kill a local police commissioner. In addition, he tried to hit him first with a shovel, then with an axe.

      The policeman used his service weapon to protect his life. He shot at the attacker's legs. After the incident, the latter received medical treatment.

      A comprehensive psychological and psychiatric examination has been ordered to assess the suspect's condition. The investigation of the case is ongoing.
