
Kirov region has joined forces with six regions to develop children's production
The region presented its delegation at the XV All-Russian Congress in Moscow, where an important agreement on cooperation between the Kirov Region and six constituent entities of the Russian Federation was signed. — The Republic of Bashkortostan, Nizhny Novgorod, Omsk, Moscow regions, Moscow and St. Petersburg.
The signed agreement provides for the comprehensive development of the production of children's goods. As part of the cooperation, it is planned to use a cluster approach, expand trade ties and create optimal conditions for the supply of children's products, including consumer goods, educational materials and educational tools.
According to Denis Pestrikov, Minister of Industry, Entrepreneurship and Trade of the Kirov region, the region has significant potential in this area. There are more than 70 enterprises producing goods for children in the region, including companies of various sizes, from large to small.
Special attention is paid to the creation of a specialized cluster of the children's goods industry. On behalf of Governor Alexander Sokolov, the formation of an appropriate organization on the basis of the regional industrial development fund will begin this year. Potential cluster members have already been identified and cooperative ties are being established between them.
The prospects for the development of the children's goods industry until 2030 were also discussed during the congress. The main focus was on developing measures to ensure the accessibility, safety and high quality of children's products.
