
KCHK branch summed up the results of charitable activities for 2024
As part of the Uralchem—Regions program, a trilateral cooperation agreement was signed between Uralchem, the Government of the Kirov Region and the administration of Kirovo-Chepetsk. According to its terms, Uralchem and the Government of the Kirov region transferred 25 million rubles each for the development of Kirovo-Chepetsk. The funds were allocated for the design of the Dvurechye Park, for the continuation of landscaping of the Yuzhny Park, for the repair of sidewalks and for the implementation of measures from the five-year development plan of the city.
The KCHK branch continued to support local initiative projects and provided financial assistance for the City Day. The company cooperates with public organizations in the region, allocates funds for competitions and events. In 2024, the traditional environmental campaign "Good Sprout" was held to green urban areas: work was carried out in the Yuzhny Park. The Safe City project continued.
Every year, agreements on social partnership are signed between Uralchem and nine municipalities of the Kirov region, the interests of whose residents are represented in the regional Legislative Assembly by deputies — employees of the company. According to them, the company provides financial support to the Territories in the implementation of socially important tasks and projects in various areas. A large-scale "Good Harvest" campaign is being held in the same areas in the spring. The participants of the action are residents of the districts aged 55 years and older. They receive mineral fertilizers produced by the KCHK branch for their garden plots. In 2024, more than 40,000 gardeners in the region received fertilizers from the company.
Uralchem annually conducts work with educational institutions of Kirovo-Chepetsk and Kirovo-Chepetsk district. In 2024, more than five million rubles were allocated for the implementation of educational projects submitted to grant competitions.
The priority area of Uralchem's social policy is to support children's sports. The KCHK branch provides sponsorship in organizing and conducting competitions in swimming, Greco-Roman wrestling, and judo. Support for children's hockey continues. In 2024, the Kirov Regional State Autonomous Institution "Olimpiya Hockey Sports School" was established in Kirovo-Chepetsk. Uralchem is its strategic partner. Last year, Uralchem allocated more than 30 million rubles for the development of the Olympia sports school. The funds were used for repairs in locker rooms, coaching rooms, a medical center, and a buffet. In April 2024, with the support of Uralchem and the Regional Government, a Hockey Festival was held in Kirovo-Chepetsk as part of the interregional Champion's Mission program. Famous athletes held a master class for young hockey players from Kirov and Kirovo-Chepetsk, shared their experiences with pupils of sports schools and active youth of the city in the format of an open dialogue.
Special attention is paid to veteran organizations in Kirovo-Chepetsk. The KCHK branch is organizationally and financially supported by the Council of Veterans of the KCHK, the Kirovo-Chepetsk City Council of Veterans of War, Labor, the Armed Forces and Law Enforcement Agencies of the Kirov region and the Kirovo-Chepetsk branch of the Russian Union of Veterans of Afghanistan.
As part of the Uralchem — Cultural Traditions program, the company supported the KVN team "Province", which represents the city and the region at performances of various levels. Uralchem has supported the media forum of modern journalism "On seven hills. Vyatka-2024", organized by the Kirov branch of the Union of Journalists, and the "Recognition" media award.
