Kirov residents will come out en masse to clean up the city

      According to the Kirov City Hall, cleaning has already been carried out on Karl Marx and Pavel Korchagin streets, at the Kirov Drama Theater, in the Music Square, as well as in memorial areas. Employees of the city administration, enterprises, social institutions and public organizations take part in the cleaning of the city after the winter.

      This week, 25 clean-up days are planned in Kirov. Today, on April 17, activists will come out to clean up the territory at the monument to Marshal Konev, in the park 60 years of the USSR, in Victory Park. On Friday, April 18, clean-up activities will be held in the coastal zone of the Chumovitsy River, at the Mayak House of Culture and in the park near the Kirov city administration.

      The main events are scheduled for Saturday, April 19th. From 9 a.m., clean-up activities will begin in Gagarin Park, in the LPK Park in the Novovyatsky district, on the boulevard part of Oktyabrsky Prospekt from Moskovskaya Street to Molodaya Gvardiya Street. Cleaning is planned on Lomonosovsky Boulevard, the embankment of Coach Pushkarev, on Theater Square and other territories.

      The city administration noted that everyone can take part in the clean-up days. Kirov management companies are asking to step up work with residents of apartment buildings to clean house territories before the May holidays. The city administration will help to take out the garbage left after the "brownie" clean-up days.
