In SIZO-2 of the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia in the Kirov region, a citizen who participated in a special military operation was officially presented with a certificate confirming the status of a combat veteran.
The preparation of the documents was organized in cooperation with the Defenders of the Fatherland Foundation. As the representatives of the organization emphasized, one of the main principles of their work is justice: every defender of the Motherland should receive equal attention from the state, regardless of his current status.
During the presentation, an employee of the social protection and seniority accounting group of prisoners of SIZO-2 informed the recipient of the document about the social support measures and benefits provided for both himself and his family members.
The event became part of a systematic effort to support the participants of the SVR, including those who are under investigation or in prison.
