
In Kirov, the route of the Velikoretsky procession was checked
According to the website of the Vyatka Diocese, the working group included representatives of the clergy, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the government of the Kirov region, the administration of the districts of the region and the heads of rural settlements. The working group for the preparation and conduct of the Vedlicoretsk procession visited temples in rural settlements and parking areas along the route that pilgrims take in the largest and one of the most ancient religious processions in Russia. The Commission visited Makarya, Bobino, Zagarye, Monastyrsky, Velikoretsky, Medyany and Murygino.
Special attention was paid to the organization of the services of the Velikoretsk procession, as well as safety, medical support for pilgrims, equipment of parking areas and compliance with sanitary requirements.
According to the Vyatka Diocese, a mobile storage room will be available for pilgrims in 2025. Transportation from Kirov to the village of Velikoretskoye will be organized for those wishing to attend divine services on the banks of the Velikaya River. Tent camps and parking areas are being set up along the route of the procession. The placement of pilgrims in educational institutions is not provided, the diocese said.
It should be noted that on May 25, the hotline for the Velikoretsky Procession will begin operating. The hotline number will be announced later.
