New monuments to be erected in Belokholunitskiy district
New memorials will soon appear in the village of Troitsa and the village of Podrezchikha, Belokholunitsky district. They will be dedicated to the memory of local residents who died in the Great Patriotic War.
Sculptures for the memorials have already been brought to both settlements. Work on their installation is planned to be completed by April 22.
In Troitsk, the monument will be placed on an existing pedestal. The situation in Podrezchikha is more complicated: there you will first need to dismantle the old foundation, then fill in a new one. The installation of memorials in both villages will be carried out by local activists.
Funds for the creation and improvement of memorials were allocated from the regional budget at the suggestion of the governor.
