The Kirov Improvement Directorate announced changes in the traffic pattern in Novovyatsk. The innovations will affect the streets located next to the railway crossing over the Trans-Siberian Railway, which will soon be closed.
After the closure of the crossing, one-way traffic will be introduced on the sections of Proletarskaya, Tukhachevsky, Linnaya and Shkolnaya. The direction of travel will be set from Sovetskaya to Rosa Luxemburg. This measure is necessary because public transport routes will run along these streets during the tunnel construction period.
The full closure of the crossing is scheduled for April 15. In this regard, the work of urban transport will also change. It is planned to use 14 buses on route No. 46, running from Geozavod to the crossing in Novovyatsk. For the convenience of residents of the 41st microdistrict, an additional bus route No. 46A will be launched. When transferring from bus No. 46 to bus No. 46A, passengers will not need to purchase a new ticket.
