Snow removal continues in Kirov after heavy snowfall

      Heavy snowfalls continue in Kirov. To combat them, road cleaning works were organized on the streets of the city. On the evening of April 7, contractors formed columns of vehicles that began clearing snow masses from the roadways. Cleaning started after heavy snowfall.

      Prior to cleaning, the surfaces were pre-treated with anti-icing materials. Combined road equipment continuously works along the route, shifting snow to the curbs to ensure traffic safety. Specialized machines with brushes are used to clean pedestrian areas, and halite salt is scattered to prevent the formation of ice.

      Special attention is paid to hard-to-reach places: approaches to pedestrian crossings and bus stops. Manual labor specialists work here to remove snow and ice from staircases and other inaccessible areas.

      Work on cleaning up the city continues to ensure safety and ease of movement in winter weather conditions.
