Today, on April 1, a post was published on the TG channel of Governor Alexander Sokolov, in which he instructed the Kirov city administration to improve a section of the highway in the village of Berezino in the Kirovo-Chepetsky district. Kirov residents were surprised that the Kirov city administration, and not Kirovo-Chepetsk, should be engaged in road repairs. The regional government explained why Sokolov made Kirov City hall responsible for repairs.
"Part of the road running through the village is located within the boundaries of the Kirovo-Chepetsky district. Sidewalks and street lighting were installed there last year. And the section of the highway passing through the village along residential buildings from No. 1 to No. 9 is located within the boundaries of the city of Kirov. Its landscaping was not carried out," the regional government explained.
That is why the governor told the villagers who contacted him that the issue of arranging the remaining part of the sidewalks has already been worked out by the Kirov city administration and will be repaired by August of this year.
