Half a million applications for the first class were submitted through Public Services on the first day of enrollment

Today, enrollment of children in the first grades has officially begun across the country. Some schools started accepting applications before April 1, but most educational institutions started the process today.

According to the Public Services portal, 501,000 applications had been submitted by 3 p.m., and 82% of them had been prepared in advance by parents in the form of drafts. Last year, a similar figure was achieved only a day after the start of the admission campaign.

Parents were actively preparing for the recording: from March 17 to April 1, they created 495 thousand drafts, of which 192 thousand were for children with benefits. Almost 90% of such applications were automatically sent at the start of the campaign — this new option became available in 2024.

The majority of applications were submitted by mothers — 89%, and fathers took 11%. The filing speed is also impressive: 42 people applied between zero and the first millisecond of recording, and 30 parents managed to do it in the first millisecond.

The maximum load was recorded in the Sverdlovsk region, where the system processed 5.2 thousand operations per second, which is twice as much as last year. In the first minutes, peak activity was observed in schools in Yekaterinburg, St. Petersburg and the Samara region.

The largest number of applications were received at Surgut School No. 9, Cheboksary School No. 65 and Yekaterinburg School No. 31.

Applications will be accepted until June 30. Applications are currently being accepted for children with benefits, as well as for schools in their place of residence. From July 6 to September 5, the second stage will begin — the submission of applications to any schools, subject to availability of places. The decision on the school's enrollment will be made within three days after the end of the admission campaign, and the notification will be sent to the Public Services personal account.
