Almost 400 Kirov residents received "pregnant" transport cards
Starting from March 1 of this year, pregnant women in the Kirov region can travel by public transport for free using a special transport card. In order to use the right of free travel, you must contact a women's consultation for registration at an early date, up to 12 weeks. Or get a standard certificate confirming the presence of pregnancy.
To date, 379 pregnant women have already been issued such a transport card. More than a hundred women received the card at the IFC, 273 — directly at women's clinics.
The regional government noted that transport cards are issued in all districts of the Kirov region. The number of trips on this card is unlimited: expectant mothers can ride urban and suburban public transport routes for free. The validity period of the card is extended automatically.
