Storm drains are being flushed and pipes are being cleaned in Kirov

      The GDMS reported that they had begun to prepare for the upcoming flood, work was underway to open the entrance and exit heads of culverts, and to clear snow from the rain intake grilles. Three units of equipment and workers have been deployed to Kirov streets to carry out flood control measures. "We have flushed the storm drain on Koltsov Street. We are working at the intersection of Luganskaya and Vesennaya streets: the drainage ditch is being cleared of snow. Prior to that, the rainwater well and collector were cleaned," the GDMS said.

      The contractor also cleans storm water utilities that drain water in low places. Culverts laid under roads are also being prepared for flooding. To date, these works have been carried out in the Novovyatsky district, in Lyangasovo, on the Kirov — Russian highway and in the village of Bakhta.

      In the near future, the drainage ditch in the village of Sadakovsky, the village of Kolobovshchina and the village of Kostino will be cleared of snow and ice. Russian russians have already cleared the meltwater drainage strip from the fields in the village of Russkoye, behind Zaokolnaya Street, as well as along the forest area on the left side of the Kirov—Russkoye highway.
