An unauthorized landfill formed on the territory of a garage cooperative in Kirovo-Chepetsk over several years posed a threat to both citizens and the environment. The court ordered the cooperative to liquidate it, but after the initiation of enforcement proceedings by bailiffs and the holding of a general meeting of board members, the situation did not change.
Despite discussions about possible solutions, there were no concrete actions, and the landfill continued to grow. In this regard, at the end of the period for the voluntary execution of the court decision, the staff of the enforcement authority imposed a penalty on the garage cooperative in the form of a performance fee in the amount of 50 thousand rubles.
According to the press service of the Federal Migration Service for the Kirov region, the imposed fine proved to be an effective measure. As a result, the landfill was completely removed.
