According to the ATP, on the "non-conductive" buses of routes No. 21, No. 39, No. 52 and No. 117, as well as on trolleybus No. 4, the revenue volume remained virtually unchanged after the introduction of the innovation. But the bus route No. 54 showed a decrease in revenue of more than 30%. In this regard, the ATP concluded that residents of the Raduzhny microdistrict prefer not to pay for transportation.
"The Control and Audit Service will strengthen the raids in the Raduzhny direction. In addition, drivers who work without conductors are advised to wait for full payment from passengers at bus stops," the ATP noted.
Recall that the introduction of non-conductor fare in Kirov began in January 2024. At that time, this system worked on two buses on route 117. In November last year, the system was installed on three more Kirov buses and two trolleybuses.
