In the summer of 2023, Rahim Azimov initiated the construction of a new Rehabilitation Center for children with special needs in Kirov. Construction began in October 2023, and the facility was completed in less than a year and a half.

It should be noted that Rahim Azimov attracted extra-budgetary financing for the construction and equipment of a new social institution. The total cost of the project was over 340 million rubles.

The new building of the center is located next to the existing regional institution for the rehabilitation of children with disabilities. The area of the new center is more than 2.5 thousand square meters. After the construction was completed, the facility was transferred to the ownership of the Kirov region free of charge.

To provide comprehensive assistance to children, the new building of the center houses physical therapy rooms, massage rooms, hot tubs, a physiotherapy room, a salt room, a sensory room, a room for social adaptation, workshops, a room for parents, as well as offices for speech therapists, speech pathologists, psychologists, social educators, social work specialists, and labor instructors. and doctors.

130 children will be able to stay in the center every day as a day hospital, and 1,500 children will undergo rehabilitation annually, which is three times more than the capacity of the existing institution allows.

The MP thanked the contractors and employees of the children's rehabilitation center for their sincere participation in the project:

"Today we saw how the new children's rehabilitation center works. He really turned out the way we intended him to be – kind and bright. The words of gratitude that come from the parents and staff of the center today are the best reward for all those who were involved in its creation. Together we have done a very big job! After all, it is already priceless to help at least one child get back on his feet and solve health problems. And here, in the center, fifteen hundred children will be able to undergo rehabilitation every year."

The Governor of the Kirov region, Alexander Sokolov, thanked the State Duma deputy for implementing this project:

"The main thing is that we will triple the number of children with disabilities who can receive assistance. We have the best equipment and highly qualified specialists here. Everything is done at the highest level. I thank State Duma Deputy Rahim Azimov for implementing a project that is so important for children's health."

The center was named "Inspiring" as a symbol of the fact that special children here will gain strength and confidence to fly confidently into the future with open opportunities.

Alexander Sidyakin, head of the Central Executive Committee of the United Russia Party, deputy of the State Duma of the Russian Federation:

"I travel around the regions a lot, but what I saw today surprised me. Fifteen hundred children a year who will undergo rehabilitation is a lot. I asked Rahim Azizboevich how the idea of creating the center was born, and he replied that people came to the reception and said that such a center was needed. This is an example of how a State Duma deputy should work. If there is a problem, it must be solved systematically," said Alexander Sidyakin.
