"Space. The Big 3D Encyclopedia": unexplored spaces for kids

The book is made in the so-called "pop-up" format (from English — "suddenly appear", "pop out") - this is a special technique for creating three-dimensional movable illustrations based on paper structures. The term originated back in the 60-70s in the USA, when it was necessary to explain the appearance of books in which illustrations could be lifted, opened and moved. So, when opening a book, they became voluminous, and when folding, on the contrary, they became flat.

But in fact, the current encyclopedia uses more than just this technique. There are as many as 50 interactive elements, including "windows" that the child needs to open and watch / read, as well as three-dimensional panoramas on several pages (for example, with descriptions of planets). By reading and reviewing the book, kids will consistently get acquainted with how people first perceived and then mastered space. Here you will find maps of constellations and interesting facts about the Solar system, flights, and a huge three-dimensional construction of the launch pad a la Baikonur.

In general, it is an excellent motivator for the youngest to become interested in the sky above their heads in general and space in particular. Moreover, it's all done in an entertaining playful way, so kids will probably "hang out" for a long time, watching and rereading the book. And then, you see, when they grow up, they will open more solid books with full and in-depth information about space.
