Kirov resident wanted to buy a snowmobile, but eventually transferred the money to the scammers
A 61-year-old resident of Kirov turned to the police for help. The man said that he had found a website with equipment on the Internet. He chose a snowmobile model he liked and submitted a request. Later, in a messenger, he received a message from a "store employee" who sent the Kirov resident a purchase and sale agreement.
The manager asked for the discount to be applied "to transfer the payment not to the organization's account, but to the chief accountant's bank card." The Kirov resident agreed with the interlocutor and transferred 63 thousand rubles to the account indicated to him. The transport company promised to send the purchase to him, however, a few days later, the attacker himself called the victim and told him that they had deceived him, and the money had gone "to the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine."
The man contacted the police. A criminal case has been opened into fraud.
