25 thousand Kirov debtors were threatened with power outage
This year, energy companies have sent over 25,000 notices of power outages to Kirov debtors. A significant portion of these notices were posted on receipts for February and March.
The warnings were received by customers whose debt exceeds the amount of two-month payments calculated according to the consumption standard. Debtors have been given a 20-day deadline to repay the debt. In case of non-payment, the company reserves the right to suspend or limit the supply of electricity.
The resumption of electricity supply is possible only after full payment of the debt, as well as reimbursement of expenses related to the restriction and subsequent restoration of electricity supply. In addition to the shutdown, debtors face the seizure of property and bank accounts, transfer of information to credit bureaus and deduction of debt from wages.
