In Kirov, they hurriedly began to "take out the Christmas tree"

      On the evening of March 5, Kirov Theater Square was still resplendent with New Year's splendor: on the main square of the city, a Christmas tree towered in lights, New Year's arches shone, and a bird of happiness "nestled" on the fountain, which had previously been chosen as the symbol of the New Year's capital of Russia, which this winter became the city of Kirov.

      In the morning, after sending a request to the city administration about when the New Year's decor would be dismantled from the Theater Square, the mayor's office did not give an official comment, but a couple of hours later workers were seen on the square, who began to dismantle the garland tent from the main Kirov Christmas tree.

      Informally, the Kirov City Hall explained that the dismantling of the New Year's decoration "is already underway." It should be noted that, indeed, the figures of Santa Claus and the Snow Maiden disappeared from the theater, but there remained a full house congratulating Kirov residents on the New Year, as well as the main symbol of the holiday — a brightly decorated fir tree.

      It should be noted that the dismantling of New Year's trees in the districts of Kirov began in early February. So, on February 4 of this year, the festive Christmas trees have already been removed in the Pervomaisky district on Pavel Korchagin St., in Malaya Subbotikha and the DSK microdistrict. In the Leninsky district, the first New Year's tree was removed on January 31 — in Friendship Square. The day before, the contractor dismantled artificial Christmas trees with decorations in Kochurovsky Park and Molodezhny Park as part of a municipal contract.

      At the same time, the Kirov city administration reported that lighting structures and consoles had begun to be turned off in the city. All jewelry is stored in a warehouse until the next season. There, specialists inspect them, clean them and, if necessary, repair them. This will allow you to extend the service life of the elements in order to use them in the future. Regarding the New Year's decoration of the Theater Square in the Kirov city Hall, they said that the New Year's town on the theater is planned to be dismantled by the end of February.
