7 charging stations for electric vehicles have been installed in the Kirov region.
Last year, the Kirov Region participated in a subsidy program from the federal budget to reimburse part of the costs to investors implementing projects to build fast charging stations for electric vehicles. So, according to the Ministry of Energy and Housing and Communal Services, 7 "fast" chargers were placed and put into operation as part of the work carried out. Four of them are located in Kirov: on Theater Square, in Pobedilovo MKR, at the bus station and on Marshal Konev Square, and three more have opened in Yaransk, Birtyaevsky rural settlement of Kotelnichsky district and the village of Ichetovkiny Afanasyevsky district.
According to the results of the 4th quarter of last year, when charging was introduced, owners of electric vehicles charged their vehicles 593 times. At the moment, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia is working on the formation of a new mechanism for subsidizing electric charging stations for cars in 2025-2030.
