The damage was estimated at 80 thousand rubles, reported the regional department of the National Guard. The "Alarm" signal was received at the control panel of the private security service around half past eight in the evening. A store employee reported that while reviewing footage from the cameras, he discovered that an unknown young man had taken an electric bicycle that was parked at the entrance and rode away. The National Guardsmen relayed the suspect's description to all units and began searching. In the area of the Circus on Oktyabrsky Avenue, another crew noticed a passerby matching the description—he was riding the stolen bicycle. When questioned by law enforcement, the man replied that he had just taken it for a ride. The detained individual turned out to be a previously convicted local resident. He was handed over to the police for further investigation.
