In Kirov, a previously convicted man snatched a phone from the hands of a 66-year-old pensioner.

      In Kirov, police officers detained a man suspected of robbery. This was reported by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for Kirov. A 66-year-old resident of the regional center contacted the police. According to him, on Mendeleev Street, an unknown person snatched a mobile phone from his hands and fled. Criminal investigation officers conducted operational-search activities and identified the alleged robber. He turned out to be a 48-year-old resident of Kirov with a previous conviction. It was revealed that after the robbery, the man sold the stolen phone and spent the money on personal needs. A criminal case was initiated against the Kirov resident under Part 1 of Article 161 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation "Robbery." During the investigation, he was placed under a preventive measure in the form of a written undertaking not to leave and proper behavior.
