В процессе аварийно-восстановительных работ поврежденный участок заменили на современный и коррозионностойкий полиэтиленовый трубопровод. Во время отключения водоснабжения для жителей района был организован подвоз питьевой воды с помощью автоцистерны. Восстановление благоустройства и уборка территории на месте раскопок планируется завершить до середины сентября. В 2027 году в рамках федеральной программы «Модернизация коммунальной инфраструктуры» запланирована полная замена сетей холодного водоснабжения на улице Мира на участке от Монтажников до Сормовской.
