303 thousand Kirov residents received support for paying utility services.

      As part of social support measures in the Kirov region, various categories of citizens can take advantage of social support or receive subsidies to reimburse part of the costs for paying for housing and communal services. According to Kirovstat, in the first half of 2026, 303,000 residents of the region utilized their right to receive social support for housing and communal services, with 2 billion 382 million rubles allocated from budgets at all levels for these purposes.

      During the first half of the year, 134,000 people received payments from the federal budget totaling 917 million rubles. From the regional budget, social support was provided to 170,000 people for a total of 1 billion 464 million rubles. The average monthly amount of social support per user from January to June of this year was 1,309 rubles.

      Another 16,000 families received subsidies—assistance for those whose payments for housing and communal services exceed the established share of the family budget. For the provision of subsidies to residents of the region during the past period, 203 million rubles were allocated from the regional budget. The average monthly subsidy amount for one family was 2,160 rubles.

      Textile production in the Kirov region has increased, while the production of medicines, furniture, and clothing has decreased. Wholesale trade in the Kirov region has decreased by 6.4%.
