A resident of the Kirov region paid off her utility debt after being threatened with the arrest of her apartment.
According to the bailiff service, there was an enforcement proceeding in the Podosinskoe district regarding a local resident. The basis for it was a court decision to recover debts for utility payments. At the time the proceedings were initiated, the amount of the debt exceeded 155,000 rubles. Meanwhile, the woman did not make any attempts to repay the debt, did not respond to payment demands, and did not get in touch with the bailiff. The staff of the service checked the debtor's property status and found that she owned two apartments. After that, the bailiff issued a decision to seize one of the real estate properties. Seizing the apartment is one of the measures of compulsory enforcement. In the future, the housing may be sold at auction, and the proceeds will be used to repay the debt. After a real threat of losing her property arose, the woman changed her decision and quickly repaid the debt in full. She paid not only the debt for utility services but also the enforcement fee for the late execution of the court decision.
