Yesterday, July 31, fire and rescue units of the Kirov region extinguished two man-made fires and responded to the scene of road traffic accidents and other emergency situations eight times.
One of the fires occurred in Kirovo-Chepetsk on Pobedy Street. The ignition happened in an apartment of a residential building. The fire damaged the walls and ceiling over an area of 16 square meters. At the scene, 14 employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia and six units of equipment were working. According to preliminary data, the cause of the fire was a malfunction of electrical equipment.
The regional office of the Ministry of Emergency Situations also reported that within a day, units responded to eight traffic accidents and other incidents that required the assistance of rescuers.
