The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the Kirov region reported that a criminal case has been initiated regarding the incident under Article 125 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Leaving in danger"). According to the police, the boy's mother was at home but left the child unattended in a room with an open window. The toddler was able to climb onto the windowsill, go out onto the external ledge, and fell down. The investigation is being conducted by an investigator from the police department No. 3 of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the city of Kirov. Law enforcement is currently establishing all the circumstances of the incident. Recall that the incident occurred on July 26 around 3 PM in one of the houses on School Lane in the Raduzhny microdistrict. After reports of the child's fall, an investigative operational group was dispatched to the scene. According to the police, the four-year-old boy fell from the fourth floor window. Fortunately, witnesses noticed what was happening. They managed to stretch out a blanket and catch the child. Arriving medics found no injuries or other damage to the boy. His life and health are not in danger.
