"Public Services" may turn into a social network.

The government is discussing the strategy for the development of the portal until 2035. This is reported by "Izvestia," citing sources involved in the preparation of the document.

One of the proposals is to create a social network based on "Gosuslugi." The platform may feature a feed of publications, and users will be able to create thematic and local communities.

The new concept also considers family services. For example, trusted chats for relatives, a shared event calendar, and the ability to apply for government services on behalf of loved ones or by their request.

In addition, the portal may be supplemented with an aggregator of cultural, sports, tourism, and volunteer events. Users will be able to create their own events, invite friends, and receive personalized recommendations. A system of achievements with bonuses and gifts from platform partners is also being discussed.

In the office of Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Grigorenko, who oversees the development of "Gosuslugi," it was confirmed that the main idea behind the portal's development is to create a universal digital ecosystem.

One of the main advantages of the platform, officials say, is the verified identity of users. In their opinion, this will allow for more secure interactions between citizens, businesses, and government bodies.

The strategy is planned until 2035. Meanwhile, the first changes in the operation of "Gosuslugi" may begin to be implemented in the coming years.
