In the Oryol district, a 41-year-old driver will stand trial, accused under part 5 of article 264 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (violation of traffic rules resulting in the death of two people). According to the investigation, on December 3, 2025, the man was driving an "Audi" on the "Kostroma – Sharya – Kirov – Perm" highway. He crossed into oncoming traffic, where he collided with a "GAZ" vehicle. As a result of the accident, two passengers in the car died. The indictment has been approved by the prosecutor's office, and the materials have been sent to court for consideration on the merits.
