One ring — two ends: at the gas station on Soviet Avenue, the line of cars stretches in both directions.
In Kirov, at one of the gas stations located near the roundabout on Soviet Tract, a huge queue of cars has formed. This is one of the few gas stations where there is still gasoline available today in Kirov. However, to buy it, one must wait in a multi-kilometer line and spend several hours doing so.
Car owners standing in line reported that some had taken their places as early as Friday morning. "I've been here since 7 AM on Friday. My wife just arrived on a bicycle; she will 'take the post,' and I will go home, also on a bicycle. If she can't refuel in a few hours, I'll come back and take her place," Alexander told Newsler.ru.
"I've been here for about three hours. If there were any movements before, now a fuel truck has arrived, and while it is 'unloading,' the queue has come to a standstill," says Sergey. "But at least the fuel truck has arrived. There's hope that I'll leave here with a full tank."
Kirov residents say that they were driven into this queue not by "the thirst for profit" or the habit of stockpiling, but by the basic lack of fuel in their tanks. Some need to go to their garden, some to the village to visit elderly parents, and some for work, but you can't go anywhere on an empty tank.
Recall that we previously reported that gasoline is available at Kirov gas stations literally at two or three gas stations, and even then marked as "low" or "running out."
