Alminova is officially nominated.

      Anna Alminova announced that she intends to participate in the upcoming elections to the State Duma for the 107th single-member district.

      "He unites the southern districts of the region. For me, this is not just a territory on the map: it is the homeland of my ancestors, my small homeland. Therefore, the decision to run for office is especially important and responsible for me," Alminova writes on social media.

      Anna Alminova was born in Vichevshchina (Kumensky District). She is a master of sports of Russia of international class, a participant in the 2008 Olympics, and a multiple medalist of the Russian championships in the 1500 m and 4x800 m relay.

      After finishing her career, she became a civil servant. From November 2016 to November 2018, she was the Deputy Minister of Sports of the Kirov Region. From November 15, 2018, to May 25, 2021, she served as the Minister of Sports and Youth Policy of the Kirov Region.

      Since 2022, she has been a deputy of the Kirov City Duma.
