Let us remind you that it was created to monitor the fuel situation in the region and to take prompt measures to stabilize it. However, there is not much talk of new measures yet — judging by the government release, Sokolov repeated at the meeting roughly the same thing he said at the meeting on Monday: that fuel from "Lukoil" is sufficient for at least two weeks (or even a month if the panic demand subsides), with a total volume of 4,500 tons. New shipments of fuel are already on the way, and supplies are not stopping. At the same time, the official did not provide any information about the availability of fuel from other companies. The governor added that the authorities convinced "Lukoil" to increase supplies and sell no less than 300 tons per day in the region. Given that due to increased demand, the population's need now amounts to 800 tons per day. The release also states that there are 37 companies in the region selling fuel, and that there are no problems with diesel fuel. Furthermore, the government has decided that fuel will not be poured into canisters and other containers at gas stations for at least another two weeks. According to officials, this is necessary to "calm the demand."
